FAQs

 WIGS

How long will a Human Hair wig last?
The wig itself can last 2-3 years with proper care and storage. Some people buy wigs once a month or every two months because they prefer to change hairstyles often. Meanwhile, others prefer to buy wigs about once or twice a year, and they only buy new wigs when the old ones are no longer in good condition. These people should pay more attention to how to care for your wigs.

What is a Lace Front Wig? What is the difference between Lace Front and Full Lace?
Lace front wigs have a lace mesh at the front of the wig cap to give it a more natural and subtle look. These types of wigs can be worn in multiple styles, including keeping the hair away from the face, because if applied properly, the hairline is almost invisible and the scalp can be seen through the mesh.
Full lace wigs have a fully covered, 360-degree lace-base from the hairline to the nape of the neck which covers the whole head. It is a very versatile wig that can be worn in multiple styles.
The difference is obvious now: A full lace wig has more wear options, and the wig cap is softer and more comfortable, as it is totally made with lace and thus more breathable. All wigs on dollyluxuryhair.com are available in lace front or full lace.

Are your wigs glueless?
Yes. All wigs are 100% glueless

Can your wigs be dyed/straightened?
Yes. Human hair wigs can be dyed and straightened just like your natural hair

HAIR EXTENSIONS

What is the difference between Remy and Virgin Hair extensions?
It is a common misconception that Remy is a brand name applied to some hair extensions. The term Remy is used to describe extensions where all the hair cuticles are aligned in the same direction (roots at the top of the weft and ends at the bottom) just as your natural hair is already. Virgin hair is used to describe hair that has not been chemically processed in any way. It’s free from any chemicals such as relaxer, perm, silicone, or color dyes. There has been no damage to the cuticles or the true structure of the hair.

What is the difference between synthetic and human hair extensions?
Hair extensions made from human hair can be dyed, heated (curled or straightened), styled, washed, and treated like your own natural hair. Hair extensions made from synthetic hair are sensitive to the sun, don’t last as long as human hair, are difficult to style, and cannot blend in as well with your real hair. Please note that we do not sell any synthetic hair.

What kind of hair does Dolly Luxury Hair offer?
Currently, we offer Remy human hair extensions.

What is the source of Dolly Luxury Hair Extensions?
Our Virgin human hair extensions are sourced from regions in Southeast Asia and India and manufactured in our privately owned factory in Asia.

How long do Dolly Luxury Hair Extensions last?
The lifespan of Dolly Luxury Hair Co. extensions are determined by how well they are taken care of. The average life span of our hair extensions is 2-3 years. Please remember that excessive heat and/or colour can result in the reduction of its natural pattern of the hair.

Does Dolly Luxury Hair Extensions experience shedding?
Any hair that has been manufactured and stitched onto a weft is entitled to experience minimum shedding. However, to prevent any and all shedding we recommend applying weft sealer along the track of each bundle of hair upon the installation. This will assist in preventing shedding.

How much hair is in each bundle?
Each bundle of hair weighs 100g. The longer the length of the hair, the shorter the length of the weft. Shorter lengths of hair have longer weft lengths.
